I love the sport of butterflying. I am not sure that is the way to spell it, but it is a verb, in the same way that fishing is a verb and birding is a verb.
Butterflying can involve collecting butterflies, photographing butterflies, watching butterflies, or conducting butterfly surveys.
The point is that it is an activity. It requires physical activity, more so than some of the other sports you can think of. It is done for fun.
I can hardly wait to get started again.
