History of the Butterfly, Part 86: Andrew Jackson

1829 was a pivital year for the Meskwaki and Sauk.  If you remember, that was the year that a number of the Meskwaki leaders were ambushed and killed by a party of Sioux, in retaliation of for the murders by the Meskwaki leader Morgan.

And 1829 saw the election of Andrew Jackson as president of the United States.
