A Tiny Leafhopper

We have had some cool weather, and several nights with frost.  Insects are not flying in large numbers.  I did see three butterflies around noon today–two clouded sulfurs and a painted lady.

I wandered around looking for insects to photograph.  Little is moving.  There are some small insects that fly, but are difficult to see when they land.  I did find this leafhopper on a fallen leaf.

I guess winter is coming and I need to get used to it.  But first I want to squeeze all I can get out of autumn.
