Part of the reason I don’t like winter are the reduced opportunities for macro photography. Sure, there is melting snow and lichens, but the bugs and flowers are gone. Fortunately I can find some subjects inside the house, like this fruit fly that was on the patio door glass.
We also have some African violets blooming.
Twelve more weeks or so and the flowers will be blooming outside.
I’ll never look at an African violet bloom quite the same way again. What about spider webs? I have plenty of those lurking about this time of year… WG
The possibilities are endless. If only the equipment was a little easier to lug around…
Wait 5 years and it probably will be both smaller and a fraction of the cost 😉
