Another Tiny Bee

I spent some time yesterday photographing very small insects on dandelions.  This small bee was identified as Osmia sp., in the subgenus Melanosmia.  The I.D. was made rather quickly by John S. Ascher on bugguide.

One Response to Another Tiny Bee

  1. Such brilliant light reflecting off this little’s body. I’m always amazed by the beauty of insects, especially when we can see them close up through photos. A beautiful shot! May all be well with you, WG
