An Ant Tending Treehoppers

I found this ant, Formica exsectoides, tending some adults of the treehopper Entylia carinata on the underside of a giant ragweed leaf. These are very common normally but I haven’t noticed them so much this year.

How Tall Does it Get?

Here is a ten foot tall ragweed plant.  That is pretty tall. Books and web sites give the maximum height at about 15-17 feet.  Anyone have records for taller ragweed plants?
